Steven Hurd, raised in South Orange County, has always had a passion for the area and the people who live there. As a second generation Realtor, with both his parents top producing Realtors and loan officers, working in the real estate industry is something he had known since he was young. One of his early memories of real estate is sitting in the car, completing his homework while his parents went to an appointment to list someone’s home.
He began learning the business at a young age. Being surrounded by people close to him – his parents and most of his relatives – who are in real estate, from builders to lenders to Realtors, Steven got his early training and exposure on how it is to be a Realtor of value. At one point, he advised his parents on the offer to write for a million dollar home!
One significant quality that makes Steven different from other Realtors is his connection with people. He has genuine interest to help others in selling or finding a home. His intention to understand and connect with people makes his sales process a reflection of nurturing an interpersonal relationship rather than simply creating a business transaction.
His objective as a Realtor is not just to close a sale and earn a profit, but to have complete empathy for people and then make a recommendation based on what is best for THEM.
For 7 years as a Realtor, Steven’s love and sincerity for what he does commit him to help people in finding their dream home or getting the best deal in selling their home.
Steven is a big family man who enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, Samira. He is passionate about communication and it has always been a focus for study in his life. He would like to eventually become a college professor that teaches students the bible in a clear and accurate way. In his free time, you can find him serving at his church, eating at Macaroni Grill with his wife, or enjoying time with their families!
